The Father's Glory in Your Life

Praying this morning, this scripture blessed my spirit, soul, and body, and I believe it will rejoice the heart of someone else.

John 12:27-28

“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.”

No matter what it feels like, looks like, glorious or gloomy, let your heart cry prayer be, "Father, glorify Your name,” and the resounding answer to this is, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again."

The Lord has already glorified Himself in your life, and He will yet do it again, and again, and again, and again, and again, for there is no limit to His glory, and so no limit to what He will do in your life, just to glorify Himself.

Jesus says, “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say?" Every trouble to your life, God will use to glorify Himself. And when you are speechless because of anything, and like Jesus, you say, what shall I say, “I don’t know what to say," say, “Father, glorify Your name.”

Here is my prayer for you today:

Therefore I also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
