Encouragement to Give

Dear Friend,

Giving, especially tithing, is a practical way of putting God first in our lives and developing a healthy relationship with our savior. It is a way to establish your priority by saying, “here Lord, take my best and I’ll have the rest.” While you have given God your life, it also includes giving your time, skills and money. For it says in the bible, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21

So what is tithing? Tithing is giving 10% of your income to God. Simply put. So for every $10 you receive, God gets $1. Not so bad right? There is a famous verse in the Bible used to teach tithing and it goes like this:

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! Malachi 3:10 (NLT)

Beloved, you and I with the rest of the church members are joined in a wonderful fellowship. We have the privilege of worshipping God together and now to share our love with the church.

I thank the Lord in advance for your continued contributions, and pray the blessings of the Lord to rest on you. Also remember, 7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

God Bless!

We believe God when He says in Malachi 3:10, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” May God richly bless you even more than you can imagine in Jesus Name. We are truly grateful. Thanks again!
